You might be thinking...its the same thing, right?? Nope! Here are the main differences between a Wedding Planner and a Wedding Coordinator to help you decide what is the best fit for you!
Planning your wedding might be the biggest undertaking you'll ever have. It can be done in a few short months or a few years. Either way, there's no doubt that planning a wedding is stressful! That's where a Wedding Planner or Wedding Coordinator comes in. If you don't know where to start, need a little extra help along the way, or just need help on the big day, there's a planner out there just for you!!
Each wedding pro plays different roles in the wedding industry and it's helpful to understand each of their duties so you can choose which best fits your needs!

Wedding Planner
The Wedding Planner isn't just a great movie (one of my favs!) but a Wedding Planner plays an important role in the orchestration, coordination, and planning of a wedding. Depending on the Bride's planning needs, a Wedding Planner can be involved from day 1, a few months into planning, or a few months before wedding day!
From budget planning and vendor recommending/booking to event decor and styling and everything in between, a Wedding Planner can do it all! We can be as involved as a Bride wants such as being there to suggest and help talk through decisions or even fully planning the Wedding with full support from the couple!
Wedding Planners:
-Search for and recommend the perfect venue and vendors
-Email and coordinate with vendors
-Make timelines and seating charts
-Communicate with everyone involved with the big day
-Invitation creation and tracking
-Guest accommodations and transportation
-Venue walk-throughs
-Catering tasting
-Decor and linen appointments
-Floral appointments
-Photography meetings
A planner can do it all!
Your Wedding Planner is the "project manager" of your wedding and handles all aspects of the planning!
